OUR LOGO

The Cross as the key symbol of our faith helps us to focus on Christ. It represents the centrality of Christ, it is an indication of service transformation expected in the diocese. It also reminds us of our core business, evangelism..

The hills, valleys and streams are unique characteristics of the area and represent the topography of the diocese. Theologically hills represent theophanic spots of Deity. They represent God’s presence.

The vallyes with abundance of water (as there is much water in the area) symbolises life and good health. It is said the Ga prefix prefix “Dwor” found in most of the names in the diocese indicates this. The colour blue, a reflection of the sky stands for hope, the hope for future growth and development of the diocese.

Like the hills, the cloud, the shekinah of God stands for God’s presence.

The main occupation of the indigenes is famring for which the tree is good representation. Together with the tree, the general greenery stands for life and growth.
